Engaging Sessions and On-FieldExperience

In addition to the classroom sessions, those invited to the camp had the opportunity to serve in multiple officiating roles, as a team of officials for the five games played throughout the weekend. Teams included SD Legions Academy, Oxford, ChicagoHounds Academy, Australian Raptors Academy, and Carlsbad Thunder. The on-field experience aided with immediate feedback provided practical insights into the theoretical concepts discussed during the sessions, contributing to the holistic development of the emerging referee group.

Camp attendees had the unique experience of staying on-site in the dormitories, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. The setting provided the perfect backdrop for referees to review games with players and coaches in a relaxed and conducive environment. This not only enhanced the learning experience but also facilitated meaningful connections between referees, coaches, and players.
